Van der Valk Hotel the Cantharel is located in a beautiful afforested area on the south west side of Apeldoorn.
Our hotel consists of 160 hotelrooms, 76 of which are brand new and opened in the spring of 2009. In the summer we will also open our new wellness and fitness facilities.

Besides this, our hotel has 2 restaurants with a beautiful sunny terrace, 16 multifunctional conference rooms, a children’s farm, dog kennel and free parking.

The rooms at van der Valk Hotel the Cantharel are modern and comfortably furnished. All have flat screen television, wireless internet (at a charge), safety deposit box, seating area, air-conditioning and a bathroom with bath and shower.

Van der Valk Hotel the Cantharel is located near the Hoge Veluwe National Park. This is a beautiful nature area with an impressive flora and fauna. It is the perfect base for cycle and walking tours. The famous Kröller Möller Museum is situated in the centre of the National Park. Here you can see many paintings of Vincent van Gogh and you can also visit the impressive statue garden.
Are you travelling with children? There is plenty of entertainment around for families. The Apenheul, a well-known monkey park and the Julianatoren (a family entertainment park) are amongst our close neighbours. For going out or shopping, we recommend you go to the centre of Apeldoorn.
